Elections in Houghton - City of Houghton - Gateway to the Keweenaw Peninsula in Upper Michigan

The City of Houghton is always looking for individuals willing to work at the Precincts on Election Day. If you are 16 years or older and a registered voter of Houghton County you are eligible to work following completion of adequate training sessions. You will be paid for both time spent at the training sessions and Election Day. Interested parties should call the City Clerk's office at 482-1700.

Precinct 1

Registered Voters who live on the west side of Bridge Street to the West City Limits. This Precinct votes at the City of Houghton Fire Department, 1400 Gundlach Road, Houghton.

Precinct 2

Registered voters who live on the east side of Bridge Street to the East City Limits. This Precinct votes at the MTU Hockey Education Center which is attached to the SDC. Parking is located across from the entrance to the cemetery.
