Finances/Accountability and Transparency

Governor Snyder has made it a priority for local governments to better communicate information about their performance and finances to citizens. The Economic Vitality Incentive Program (EVIP), signed into law in May 2011 specifies that communities must have a Citizen’s Guide and Performance Dashboard available to citizens by October 1, 2012 in order to qualify for EVIP revenue sharing dollars. These documents, as well as our current operating budget, are available below.
